well, easy one but …
well, easy one but you made it look complicated… nice effort, but it’s easy to find out by everyone. what’s more - it must be a very particular placing of digits to make your “tip” a useful one (this shown on the film doesn’t really happen very often)

it’s a good tip for …
it’s a good tip for all users, advanced or not. i think it’s pretty much basic for those who play it frequently.
here’s a REAL tip: solve according to the easiest block, row, or column. the ones that have the most slots already solved. then work your way as you adapt to the bigger picture. after a while, you’ll see what goes where and your times will keep getting better.

This is really basic stuff. It’s one of the first things you learn playing Sudoku, somply because of its logic. Advanced? Try Swordfish, X-wing, or any of the other truly advanced techniques out there to help you solve truly challenging puzzles. This puzzle wasn’t very challenging.
